I am planning a trip to nyc for july 2009. where can i find maps brochures, books, and guides, for free.. and online so that they can be delivered to my house?

You can go to your library and get NYC guidebooks, such as Fodor’s and Frommer’s. They also have on-line info.
BudgetTravel.com, TripAdvisor.com and CityPass.com are some websites you might find helpful. Do a search for “NYC tourism” or somesuch and you’ll get lots of websites.
