What is the best newspaper to subscribe to for Indianapolis, Indiana?

There are several newspapers in Indy and I am primarily interested in the news and happenings of the downtown Indianapolis area. I live in another state but travel there often and would like to stay informed by subscribing to one of them. Most cities have one newspaper that is generally thought of as the best. Which do you think it is? I am also interested in the arts. Does anyone know if I can subscribe to their NUVO City Art Guide, or something like it?

The Indy Star is the main paper – you can access it online at IndyStar.com and the NUVO is good for arts news – you can get a mail subscription:
52 yr and $26 for a half year. They take credit card, check or money order payable to NUVO. If interested you can contact them via their website: Nuvo.net
For fun arts news you can subscribe to the Indianapolis Business Journal – online – arts events will be mailed to you – pretty handy.
