I am planning to visit Egypt sometime in September, maybe for a week or so. I would like to purchase a good travel guide book so I can do a little reading and know what places I want to visit on my trip.
I have looked up Amazon.com but have come across books with both +ve and -ve reviews and am confused. I dont want an expensive book.

Hi it sound as if your a sightseer not a Beach person, there are books at your travel agent which will show you all the sites you can visit. From Cairo [museum, pyramids spinx ] To luxor with its temple, temple of light, over the nile to valley of the kings tombs more temple, and up to the aswan dam and more ancient ruins. Good Holidaying John
