Good inexpensive Mexico trip from San Antonio TX?

I live in San Antonio, TX and would like to take a trip to a nice but inexpensive destination in Mexico. I am looking at last minute deals for the next couple of weeks. I would also consider guided bus tours into Mexico, but I don’t want to drive into Mexico myself. I will be accompanied by my husband. We are just looking to stay 2 or 3 days, see some historic or natural sights, and head back home. Suggestions, and for those of you in San Antonio, any travel agency recommendations?

Try Puerto Vallarta. It’s very inexpensive and there are things to do around town for everyone. Check out the guide on http://www.cafeyak.com (see Puerto Vallarta in Travel section).
If you are looking for good deals, last minute travel sites are great, such as site59.com. I wouldn’t recommend a bus tour, since you will probably spend more time on it than flying, even from San Antonio.
